"We believe the WestEnd plan incorporates some of the best ideas in urban planning -- fine-grained, walkable neighborhoods of lasting value and at an affordable price to the public," says Charles Banas, a New Millennium Group representative. The NFTA directors are expected to name a designated developer for the 120-acre outer harbor area during the board's Jan. 24 meeting. The directors, before their vote, will review input from a blue-ribbon panel and from community sessions.

Waterfront Update
The New Millenium Group supports the "WestEnd" plan for developing the waterfront.
