Confirmed: Leg cancelled for today

WGRZ reports that the Leg meeting on the layoffs (as per Judge Stakowski's decision) is off for today:

"2 On Your Side has learned that a bipartisan group of Erie County Legislators, Republicans and Democrats, have been working behind the scenes, trying to hammer out a new plan that would phase in layoffs over the next few weeks. That's in contrast to the Erie County Executive's plan to eliminate 1,490 jobs in one shot. The full Legislature had planned vote up or down on either plan during today's special session, but that session was cancelled"

Maybe the grownups are back in charge. We'll wait and see.
